Project Details: NewCold – SY01 Sydney Cold Storage Facility, Marsden Park - Stage 1 (D&C)
NewCold Advanced Cold Logistics (NewCold) is a global leader in cold storage and cold chain logistics. The company is expanding its Australian operations with the development of a new state-of-the-art cold storage facility located in Marsden Park, Sydney. Known as SY01, the facility will integrate advanced automation, energy-efficient systems, and scalable logistics infrastructure. The SY01 facility will include a mix of high-bay and low-bay freezers, administrative offices, staff amenities, and a range of operational and technical support areas. Key infrastructure includes:
- Maintenance workshop
- Battery charging stations
- Lift services
- Refrigeration plant room with condenser deck (above Level 1 roof)
- Switch room and IT server room
- Sprinkler valve rooms and gas suppression storage rooms
- Compressor room for the oxygen reduction plant and independent compressor
- Pump house with fire water ring main
- Stormwater infrastructure
- Car parking and landscaped areas
