Carlingford West Public School & Cumberland High School

New Edge Group is currently undertaking the D&C Mechanical Services for the upgrades to CWPS and CHS, collectively referred to as the Cumberland Cluster. The two schools share a site located within the Rydalmere School Community Plan (RCP) study area. The upgrades to CWPS will include the construction of four new buildings in the north-west portion of the site known as Buildings W, X, Y and Z. These buildings range from one to three storeys and contain a variety of uses including general learning spaces, library, amenities, staff rooms and combined canteen, OSHC, gym and hall.  The master plan at CHS will include the construction of three new buildings in the south-east portion of the site, buildings Y and Z are constructed in stage 1 (this Contract), building X will be constructed in a future stage 2 (not in this Contract). These buildings range from one to five storeys and contain a variety of uses including general and specialists learning spaces, library, staff and student amenities, and combined lecture theatre, canteen, OSHC and gym/hall.  This project also includes upgrade of existing school buildings at CHS Building A, C, D, E, G to meet current learning standards and guidelines. These buildings include Science labs, GLS, Administration, Workshop, storeroom, Food GLS, seminar room, textile GLS, Library upgrade, student amenities.
