Aeromedical Base

New Edge Group has been appointed by Adco Constructions to deliver the design and construct mechanical contracting package for the Brisbane Airport Aeromedical Base. This critical project, spanning approximately four hectares in the Airport North Neighbourhood, will support vital aeromedical operations, including the Royal Flying Doctor Service, LifeFlight, Retrieval Services Queensland, and Queensland Government Air. The facility will feature aircraft hangars and aprons, office spaces, car parks, a café, and service roads, across six purpose-built buildings delivered in two stages. Sustainability is a key focus, with all mechanical systems designed to contribute to the project’s 5-Star Green Star target.
