New Edge Group (Qld) Pty Ltd has been appointed by Adco Constructions to undertake the D&C mechanical contracting package at the Robina Campus of Bond University. The new Connections Precinct is a transformative 18,000sq.m, state-of-the-art development which will unite Bond’s Business and Medicine programs under one integrated roof for the first time – an Australian-first initiative designed to strengthen collaboration between health and commerce. The project will kick off in 2025 with a scheduled completion aiming for mid-2027. The Connections Precinct will comprise the spanning of three architecturally cohesive buildings, and will feature:
- -New anatomy laboratories, and 33 new clinical skills rooms
- -A custom-designed home for the Bond Business School.
- -A 1,200-seat Great Hall for events including graduations, balls, and major community events.
- -250 extra carparking bays
- -490kW of rooftop solar
